Fashion, art, music and hemp culture converge at Six Coasts for a Sunday finale, creative-industry gathering, and Julian Magazine Hemp Issue release.

NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, September 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Choose Your Change (CYC) brings its three-day Farm to Fabric Hemp Symposium – History and Future of Hemp -- to a close on Sunday, September 20th, with a Governors Island finale at Six Coasts featuring a creative-industry gathering focusing on hemp fashion and textile presentations, DJs, live keynotes, and the release of Julian Magazine’s special Hemp Issue. Presented as part of New York Textile Month, and as New York's broader September sustainability calendar moves into Climate Week NYC, the free public event follows the two days of exhibitions, demonstrations and conversations at Brooklyn Peace Center and shifts to a finale event at Six Coasts on Governor's Island to continue the showcase of hemp from field-to-fiber and textile into fashion, media and culture.

Helping shape the music and creative atmosphere is Aloha From Brooklyn (AFB), the collaborative project of Shane Okouchi, Vik Srinivisan, Pedro Motta and Vick Matos. Working across music, art, community, event production and cultural programming, AFB brings its wider creative network, including Rhythm & Space, Snacks World Wide and Rustam Ospanoff, into the Sunday experience.

The finale also marks the official release of Julian Magazine’s gorgeous Hemp Issue, developed in connection with Farm to Fabric and featuring the people, companies, artists, designers and communities contributing to the evolving hemp textile movement. The fashion and textile presentation extends that story into finished garments and contemporary design, giving guests a chance to experience hemp not only as an agricultural material, but as part of fashion, image-making and creative culture.

Set beside the ferry landing on Governors Island, Six Coasts becomes the final stop in a weekend tracing hemp from farm-to-fabric and into contemporary culture. The afternoon and evening are designed as both a showcase and a gathering, bringing together fashion, music, media, hospitality and the people helping shape what hemp can become next.

Registered Farm to Fabric guests will have access to complimentary ferry transportation from Manhattan between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. General admission is free with registration, and space is limited. A $100 VIP ticket includes a spread of curated bites and light fare at Six Coasts beginning at 5:30 PM. Ferries depart from the Battery Maritime Building, 10 South Street in Lower Manhattan, arriving at Soissons Landing. Six Coasts is located immediately adjacent to the landing. The Farm to Fabric presentation is scheduled for approximately 6:15 PM, followed by continued music and programming into the evening.
Programming begins at 5:00 PM.
